GMC Yukon Makes Cameo Appearance In Plies’ ‘Pluged In’ Music Video

Whether you like his music or not, you got to respect Plies’ taste in vehicles

From the gold watches to the diamond necklace, Plies is just dripping in style for his new “Plugged In” music video, and that’s before we even mention the 2015 GMC Yukon he featured in the visual.

This song comes from Plies’ new mixtape, and the music video could be best compared to films such as Scarface and Paid in Full. It’s been more than five years since Plies released a song that has charted on the Billboard Hot 100, so it’s good to see he’s still living well and can afford a beautiful vehicle like the 2015 GMC Yukon with an MSRP of $47,740.

The 2015 GMC Yukon SLE and SLT trims both come equipped with a 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8 engine good for 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque, while the 2015 GMC Denali features an even more powerful 6.2-liter EcoTec3 engine, which can produce 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.

The 2015 GMC Yukon also gets decent fuel mileage for an SUV of 16 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway, as well as featuring an 8-inch color touch radio screen and premium Bose® surround sound system, so driver and passengers can enjoy classic songs by Plies like “Plenty Money,” “Hypnotized,” and “Shawty.”

So why did Plies choose this vehicle for his new music video? It could be because of the powerful engine specs or advanced sound system that were previously mentioned, but the Florida rapper probably chose the Yukon because of its bold and menacing look, highlighted by its highly detailed chrome grille.

Plies is the only one to know the real answer as to why he selected this fine machine for the video, but in the meantime we’re just hoping for some more good music from the rapper.
