GMC recently uploaded a video to YouTube which displays the new design of the 2017 Acadia

The GMC Acadia will be looking considerably different for the 2017 model year, and GMC has released a new video which gives potential buyers a virtual tour of the vehicle.

The minute-and-a-half-long video showcases many of the vehicle’s unique features, such as the high-intensity discharge (HID) headlights of the Denali model, as well as the 79 cubic feet of available cargo space, which can be achieved when all the rear seats are folded downward.

In case you weren’t already aware, the 2017 Acadia has been downsized to mid-size crossover proportions and will weigh approximately 700 pounds less than the outgoing model. Consumers will have the choice between a 194 horsepower four-cylinder and 310 horsepower V6 engine. Both options come paired with a six-speed automatic transmission and buyers can choose between front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive models.

Also highlighted in the video, the 2017 Acadia will be available in both the luxurious Denali trim level and the rugged All Terrain model. The Denali trim wears specific six-spoke wheels, a dimensional chrome grille, and chrome-accented door handles. The exterior of the All Terrain model will feature its own distinctive wheels, a body-color grille surround, and black chrome trim.

The 2017 GMC Acadia will be available with GMC’s IntelliLink system, which supports both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. In addition, the 2017 Acadia will offer new active safety features like front pedestrian braking and a surround vision camera.

The new 2017 Acadia will have a starting MSRP of $29,995 and will be available for purchase starting this spring.
