Maven car sharing service launches in Los Angeles

General Motors’ personal mobility brand, Maven, is continuing to expand its reach to new cities across the United States. The newest addition to the list is Baltimore, and now residents of and visitors to the Maryland city can access new cars on demand for hourly or daily rates through Maven’s seamless mobile app.

Maven is expanding its offerings in Baltimore from the Lyft Express Drive program to now also include Maven City car sharing.

“Baltimore is a great fit for an elevated car-sharing service because of the number of people wanting to live and work in a revitalized downtown,” said Dan Grossman, Maven’s chief operating officer. “Owning a car in a densely populated urban city is not always practical, and Maven now provides options for Baltimoreans wanting to live car-free or car-lite.”
