American muscle meets American muscle: Rocky star Sly Stallone in his custom Corvette

When you picture Sylvester Stallone driving, you probably envision him behind the wheel of a long-haul semi truck, trying to reconnect with his estranged child Michael as they travel on a road trip from Colorado to California, as depicted in the 1987 classic Over the Top (widely regarded as the Citizen Kane of arm-wrestling movies).

But it turns out that the Italian Stallion also has a thing for Corvettes—or at least he did, back in 2009, when he bought a custom 1968 Corvette roadster at Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas for $198,000. Apparently a passing fancy, Sly sold the Vette two years later.

Now, the roadster is on sale once again, this time for the mere price of $129,000.

The ’68 Chevy Corvette is equipped with a 510 cubic inch Donovan Big Block engine, producing approximately 660 horsepower. The car also features a five-speed manual transmission, vintage air conditioning, and a leather interior—plus a CD player, so that you can play the Rocky theme song on repeat every time you go for a drive! (Or Survivor’s “Eye of the Tiger,” if you’re more a fan of the sequels)

Best of all? The buyer gets an autographed picture showing Stallone driving the car, as well as the car’s previous title, which is also signed by Stallone.

$129,000 for the car and both signatures is a pretty good deal, considering it costs about $400 just to get one autograph from the guy.
