If you followed the 2013 Tokyo Motor Show, then you’ve probably already seen two of the most talked-about cars there: the GT–R NISMO and Nissan BladeGlider. If you haven’t seen these stunning and groundbreaking cars, it’s time to get on board.

Last week, the thrilling Nissan duo made their European debut at the Geneva Motor Show, and once again, they did not disappoint.

The thrilling GT-R NISMO is a race-inspired version of Nissan’s legendary GT-R that delivers 600PS from a 3.8-liter twin turbo-charged V6. Nissan’s newest addition to the NISMO family features “revolutionary enhanced aerodynamics and ultra-precise handling,” according to a recent Nissan news release.

In what feels like a sneak-peek into the future, Nissan’s BladeGlider is a sight to behold. The BladeGlider is Nissan’s latest sports concept, which “will challenge conventional thinking on sports car performance handling, braking and weight distribution.” The car appears to have wings from an aerial view, as the front is significantly narrower than the back, leaving only enough space for the driver’s seat in the front.

The GT-R NISMO and Nissan BladeGlider show Nissan’s commitment to innovation and engineering, and a consistent desire to step outside of the box of conventional thinking when it comes to car manufacturing.
