Hennessey Unleashes 852-Horsepower Charger Hellcat
If you happen to have a 707-horsepower muscle car in your hands, what do you do? Well, if you’re Hennessey, you add another 100 horsepower to it.

Following in the similar footsteps of Walsh Motorsports, which took the 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat and made it churn out 805 hp, Hennessey grabbed the 2015 Dodge Charger Hellcat and pushed its power limits. The tuners managed to create two power-hungry versions of the Hellcat—the HPE800 and HPE850.
The HPE800 comes with fancier tuning software, a new ECU, a high-flow air filter, and a variety of aesthetic changes, which include Hennessey embroidered head rests and exterior badges. It churns out a total of 805 horsepower like the Walsh Challenger Hellcat, a huge boost from the regular Charger Hellcat’s 707.

If 805 horsepower isn’t enough for you—because, really, who doesn’t love more power?—then Hennessey has just the answer to your prayers. The HPE850 churns out a power punch of 852 horsepower, making it considerably quicker than the standard Charger Hellcat. While it might not hold up to a McLaren 650S in terms of acceleration, it definitely kicks off a couple seconds off the Hellcat’s 0-to-60 time.
While some people might think this amount of performance is overkill, we wouldn’t mind getting behind the wheel of the Hennessey’s Charger Hellcat.
