Martha Stewart stuck in snow

Martha Stewart. If you are thinking about swanking up your next dinner gathering or putting together some insanely delicious and complex dessert, hers is one of the first names that comes to mind. The name Martha Stewart evokes thoughts of shrewd yet inscrutably friendly perfectionism, of warmly-lit kitchens adored with only the highest quality tools and the finest counter tops, of her improbable yet incredibly charming friendship with Snoop Dogg.

What might not immediately spring to mind is the idea of Martha Stewart, the queen of all that is prim and proper, throwing down behind the wheel of an enormous Ford Super Duty. And yet, here we are.

So, Martha Stewart has way more in common with The Rock than you may have ever thought. Perhaps she, too, is capable of defeating opponents with an elbow drop.

Yes, that’s the demure 75-year-old behind the wheel of a Ford F-250 with a snow plow kit, attempting to clear a path at her 152-acre Cantitoe Corners estate in Katonah, New York. Apparently, this is not the first time she’s battled the snow from behind the wheel of a beasty truck, either.

In a blog post written on January 26th, 2016, entitled “The First Winter Storm of 2016,” Stewart writes:

Heavy snow and high winds also hit my Bedford farm – more than an inch of snow fell per hour from Saturday morning until late that night. Many of my commitments were canceled, so I decided to get into my truck and plow all the roads on the property myself – and of course, take some photos. I had a great time indeed. Enjoy.

This is accompanied by a photo of her behind the wheel of the same truck, only this time seemingly without having gotten stuck.

Fun fact: Stewart also owns the 35,000-square-foot Skylands estate in Maine, which was once the home of Ford Model A and Lincoln Continental creator Edsel Ford.

Surely, Martha will find some way to get out of her current predicament. It will almost certainly involve a process done meticulously and might even result in some kind of delicious pie of some kind being formed from nothingness.
