2017 Holden Trailblazer Z71

Aussie off-roaders, be ready: Holden has announced that it will be releasing a limited 400-unit run of the Trailblazer Z71 in June, adding exclusive aesthetic upgrades that are certain to make it a hot-ticket item with collectors and enthusiasts alike.

“The Trailblazer Z71 special edition adds stand-out styling to our adventure-ready, family-friendly 4×4 SUV, showing customers they really can have it all,” said Holden’s Director of Communications, Sean Poppitt. “With its impressive performance on and off roads, as well as its connectivity and active safety technology, Trailblazer has already proved itself a well-equipped performer. Now with new black wheels and black styling features, it can do it all with an even greater presence on the roads.”

The Trailblazer Z71 will cost a mere $1,000 on top of the price of a Trailblazer LTZ, adding 18-inch Black painted alloy wheels; Black body side and belt line moldings, mirrors, and door handles; Gloss Black B-Pillar appliques; and Z71 hood decals, headrest embroideries, and floor mats. It will be available in Summit White and Absolute Red, as well as Satin Steel Grey and Mineral Black for an additional $550.

Holden opted to release the special edition Trailblazer based on the success of its Colorado Z71. While the initial run is limited at 400 units, it is not outside of the realm of possibility that it would be re-released for future model years.

The Trailblazer LTZ is standard with heated and leather-appointed front seats and is offered with rear view camera and Apple CarPlay/Android Auto capabilities.
