Honda’s all-new 2014 Odyssey minivan developed at the Honda Alabama plant.

After almost 12 years since it opened, Honda Manufacturing of Alabama (HMA) celebrated a production milestone that not many factories get to see after its 3 millionth Honda rolled off the line. The facility, which was opened on November 14, 2001 in Lincoln, Alabama, is the only plant to produce the Odyssey minivan, the Honda Pilot, the Ridgeline pickup truck, and the Acura MDX.

“The commitment and dedication of our 4,000 associates has allowed HMA to achieve this production milestone and fulfill our commitment to more than 3 million Honda customers across the globe,” said Tom Shoupe, HMA President.

The Odyssey leads production rates so far with over 1.82 million of the vehicles made at HMA, followed by the Pilot with 1.02 million units made, the Ridgeline with 90,000 units, the Acura MDX SUV equaling 50,000, and the Accord V6 sedans adding 27,000 to the 3 million vehicles produced by the plant.
