Honda Environmental Short Film SeriesFor the second year in a row, an entry in the Honda Environmental Short Film Series has taken home two Telly Awards. The film “Never Ending Race,” which chronicles Honda’s four-decade quest to reduce vehicle emissions, won awards in the categories Green/Eco-Friendly and Social Responsibility.

“Our greatest challenge in creating “Never Ending Race” was to successfully capture in just four minutes a story that unfolded over four decades,” said Marcos Frommer of Honda North America, Inc. “In accepting this award, Honda thanks its associates – past and present – who have worked to reduce vehicle tailpipe emissions with the same competitive spirit and vigor that defines our racing spirit.”

“Never Ending Race” is the third entry in the Honda Environmental Short Film Series, following the films “Paint by Numbers” and “Every Drop Counts.”

“Paint by Numbers” stars Honda of America Manufacturing Senior Staff Engineer Shubho Bhattacharya, who discusses his energy saving Intelligent Paint Technology and his belief that global warming is among the most important issues facing humanity today. That film won Green/Eco-Friendly and Social Responsibility at the 2013 Telly Awards.

The second entry, “Every Drop Counts,” shows how a sketch made by a retired plant engineer leads to the creation of a hydropower generation system at the Honda manufacturing plant in Marysville, Ohio that manages to cut COemissions by 77,000 pounds annually.
