Honda had three models win 2015 ALG Residual Value Awards for being the highest ranked vehicles in their segment – the Fit, CR-V, and Odyssey. The latter two models were previously honored with 2015 KBB Best Buy Awards, alongside the Japanese automaker’s Accord and Civic.

The annual ALG Residual Value Awards recognize automobiles that ALG predicts will retain the highest percent of their original cost after a period of three years. The 2015 Honda Odyssey ranked highest in the Minivan (MVP) category for the fourth consecutive year, the Fit was tops in the Sub-Compact Car rankings for the seventh consecutive year, and the CR-V notched its first win in the Compact Utility segment.

“One of Honda’s key priorities is to offer our customers vehicles that hold their value throughout the ownership experience,” said Jeff Conrad, American Honda Motor senior vice president and general manager. “Our brand is committed to retail sales leadership through top-quality, well-equipped vehicles, and that sets Honda apart in a way that benefits our customers now and in the years to come.”

The winners of the 2015 ALG Residual Value Awards were all determined based on historical vehicle performance, industry trends, quality, production levels relative to demand, pricing, among other key areas.

“Honda comes to these segments with great products and great sales strategies,” said ALG President Larry Dominique. “With strong transaction prices bolstered by low incentives and very few fleet sales, Honda has continued to achieve top residuals with each of these vehicles.”
