Today American Honda Motor Company reported total February sales of 121,686 Honda and Acura vehicles. The strong sales success, which marked an increase of 2.3% over February 2016, set a new record for the month.

Another February record was set by American Honda trucks, which rose 12.2% on sales of 63,989 units. New February records were also set by Honda Division sales, which gained 4.3% on sales of 110,822 units, and Honda trucks, which shot up 15.3% on sales of 56,419 units.

As has been the case for quite a while now, Acura Division sales were down, with the automaker’s luxury brand decreasing by 14.9% with 10,864 vehicles sold in February.

Leading the way for Honda were the CR-V and HR-V, which repeated strong January performances to both set new February records—CR-V sales were up 26.3% on sales of 31,898, and HR-V up 28.6% with 6,354 units sold.

“The new CR-V is exceeding our own expectations with production and deliveries now fully up to speed,” said Jeff Conrad, senior vice president and general manager of the Honda Division. “It’s clearly hitting a sweet spot in the market and complemented by HR-V at the entry level.”

Acura’s down month had a few bright spots in it—namely, the popular RDX setting a new February record with sales of 4,029 vehicles, representing a 6.1% gain. The NSX hybrid supercar also continued its steady sales pace, with 46 units sold last month. Additionally, after a strong first outing at Daytona in January, later this month the NSX GT3 racecar is heading to the legendary 12 Hours of Sebring in search of endurance racing glory.
