We still aren’t sure what the next-gen Honda Ridgeline will look like, although we do know it will ditch the last model’s distinctive dual sloping buttresses, and may share design elements with the 2016 Pilot. We’ll soon have a better idea of how the redesigned pickup truck will eventually look, though, when the Honda Ridgeline Desert Race Truck concept debuts at this year’s SEMA Show.

Today Honda announced that it will premiere the Ridgeline Desert Race Truck at the 2015 SEMA Show in Las Vegas, showcasing the design direction of the 2017 Honda Ridgeline production model that will debut next year.

Honda will also be displaying four Honda HR-V project vehicles, built in partnership with various US-based automotive tuning houses, as well as the refreshed 2016 Honda CR-Z sport hybrid coupe. Accessorized versions of the all-new 2016 Honda Civic Sedan and 2016 Honda Pilot will also be part of the Japanese automaker’s SEMA presence.

Honda Powersports and Honda Performance Development (HPD) also have a lot to showcase, including the Pioneer 1000 Side-by-Side in matching desert race livery, the Moto GP Race Replica RC213V-S, and the Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing IndyCar display, according to Honda.

The 2015 SEMA Show will run from November 3-6 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
