Honda Will Reveal FCEV Concept at 2013 LA Auto Show

With a number of alternative energy vehicle options available on the market, more and more carmakers are turning their heads towards hydrogen fuel cell technology. Honda is one of these carmakers, and has recently announced that it intends to introduce its next generation fuel cell car at the Los Angeles Auto Show next week.  Honda will reveal its FCEV Concept with plans to launch a production version of the car in the U.S. and Japan in 2015.

“The Honda FCEV Concept demonstrates the company’s vision for the future of personal mobility and our commitment to developing advanced alternative fuel vehicles,” said Mike Accavitti, senior vice president of American Honda Motor Co.

Fuel cell cars are going to be all the rage at the LA Auto Show with Toyota and Hyundai both revealing more about their own fuel cell car concepts. With zero emissions and a plethora of advantages over the ever-popular battery-powered cars, hydrogen fuel cell technology is just the next step in the car industry’s move towards alternative fuel vehicles.  As it has led  the industry for so many years, Honda is looking to take the lead once more with the FCEV Concept.
