Developed from a clean sheet design, the HondaJet has been certified by the United States Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), European Aviation Safety Agency, and the Civil Aviation Safety Authority of Mexico. The light jet, which incorporates advanced technologies that allow it to achieve both high-speed performance and high fuel efficiency, had its very first delivery in late December of last year.
The HondaJet boasts a maximum cruise speed of 422 knots (486 mph), making it the fastest jet in its class. Its 43,000-feet maximum altitude is also the highest in its class, and perhaps most impressively, it manages to be the most fuel-efficient light jet in its class by up to 17%. The HondaJet also has an NBAA IFR range of 1,223 nautical miles (1,408 miles).
The HondaJet is currently being sold in North America, South America, and Europe through the HondaJet dealer network.
