Howie Long Chevy Silverado Video Explores Truck’s Features
It’s not really a secret, but we at The News Wheel kinda like trucks. Like, kinda really like trucks. So when we come across a video of two dudes talking about trucks, you can probably imagine that our day was made. That was exactly what happened when we discovered this Chevy Silverado video this week, featuring NFL great Howie Long and Chevrolet Chief Engineer Eric Stanczak discussing the awesomeness that comes along with every Silverado truck. Of course, since the video is put out by Chevy, there’s some name-dropping—such as the fact that the Silverado was named 2014 North American Truck of the Year. The truck that the guys are talking about is a High Country, which is one of the most tricked-out trucks money can buy. It’s got chrome stuff on the outside, and leather and wood finishes on the inside, making it appear more like a luxury SUV than a work-capable truck.
Basically, this video is a three-minute commercial for the Silverado, but we’re pretty much okay with that. Long and Stanczak discuss various aspects of the truck, such as its innovative cargo box features, CornerStep rear bumper, EZ-Lift and Lower Tailgate (catchy name), fuel-efficient V8 engine, and OnStar 4G LTE Wifi. And those are just a few of the features you can get in the Silverado.
