Hyundai has revealed that the suggested starting price of the 2018 Accent will be $14,995 for the six-speed manual transmission version of the base-level SE trim. To upgrade the SE trim to automatic transmission, add on $1,000. This entry-level version now comes with standard features like a five-inch color touchscreen audio system with rearview camera, Bluetooth® phone interface, steering wheel mounted audio/cruise controls, and 15-inch wheels. All this for only $250 above last year’s 2017 MSRP.

If you’re interested in getting more features, you can opt for the SEL trim package, which costs $17,295. For even more gadgets and gizmos, the top-of-the-line Limited trim offers a surprisingly luxurious experience at only $18,895. Even with the $885 freight charge that all Hyundai vehicles receive, that means the best version of the 2018 Accent sedan is still under $20,000 total.

A highlight of this new Accent is its generous cabin space that actually puts it at the dimensions of a higher model class, making it the most spacious vehicle in its class. The updated 1.6-liter Gamma four-cylinder Gasoline Direct Injected (GDI) engine is also receiving attention for producing 130 horsepower and 119 lb-ft of torque.

The 2018 Accent is on its way to dealerships, so get your name on the list for a test drive.
