“Hyundai You Pair the Pros” Includes Golf Fans in PGA Tour
PGA TOUR fans throughout the world will receive the chance to participate in the 2014 Hyundai Tournament of Champions thanks to launching of the “Hyundai You Pair the Pros” program.
The voting system will allow fans to choose a featured pairing in the first round of the tournament, choosing which player out of three will be going head to head with defending champion, Dustin Johnson. The choices include Adam Scott, the Masters champion; Brandt Snedeker, the 2012 FedExCup champion; or six-time PGA TOUR winner, Matt Kuchar.
“It’s exciting to be the first tournament on the PGA TOUR that allows fans to pick a pairing,” said Nancy Cross, executive director of the Hyundai Tournament of Champions. “Our fans are an integral part of the tournament’s success, and we can’t wait for them to show up to see if their vote is paired with Dustin Johnson.”
The Hyundai Tournament of Champions will take place at The Plantation Course at Kapalua in Maui, Hawaii from January 2-6, 2014. Voting for the “Hyundai You Pair the Pros” will end on December 30 and can be completed on the PGA TOUR Social Hub. PGA TOUR fans will discover on January 1, 2014.
