The annual Infiniti Coaches Charity Challenge was recently held at the automaker’s Americas Headquarters in Tennessee, where it donated $1,049,000 as part of its partnership with the NCAA Division I Men’s Basketball and the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC).

The celebration marked the third consecutive victory of Coach Thad Matta and Ohio State Buckeye fans in the annual Infiniti Coaches Charity Challenge. As part of their reward, Infiniti donated $100,000 to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio—Coach Matta’s charity of choice—as well as an additional $229,000 to various philanthropic organizations selected by the other NABC coaches who participated in the challenge.

Infiniti also delivered on its promise to make a charitable contribution to the Coaches vs. Cancer program—a collaboration between the NABC and the American Cancer Society—for each time a fan participated in the Infiniti-sponsored Coaches vs. Cancer Round by Round bracket game during March Madness, with a final donation amounting to $720,000.
