Infiniti Design BeijingInfiniti Design Beijing is open for business in the Chaoyang district of China, where designers are at work on the Infiniti Concept Vision Gran Turismo that will be revealed “in just a few days.”

Infiniti is hoping to capitalize on its increasing success in China in as many ways possible, as evidenced by long-wheelbase variants of popular models, the formation of a joint venture with Dongfeng, and the launch of local production at the Dongfeng Nissan Xiangyang Plant.

“China has quickly grown to become the second largest market in the world for Infiniti, so it is essential for us Designers to be even closer to the heart of the market and its pulsating culture,” said Shiro Nakamura, Chief Creative Officer of Infiniti and Senior Vice President of Nissan Motor Corporation. “We expect to draw many inspirations from Chinese customers’ deep understanding of premium brands and lifestyles, and this will strengthen Infiniti designs even more.”
