Infiniti announced that it has successfully followed its record-breaking first quarter with an all-time best performance for the month of April. Infiniti sold 16,700 vehicles around the world last month, a year-over-year improvement of 1,700 vehicles and 12%. Infiniti’s four major sales regions—United States, China, EMEA, and Asia/Oceania—all reported significant growth for the month.

“The strong momentum that we gained at the beginning of the year continued in April,” said Infiniti president Roland Krueger. “We continue to implement our growth strategy on our way to establish Infiniti as one of the key global premium brands in the automotive industry. I would like to thank our customers around the world who made Infiniti their trusted purchase.”

Sales in America were up 8% with more than 1,000 vehicles sold. Sales in China eclipsed 3,750 vehicles for the month, a 41% year-over-year boost. The EMEA region added 1,450 vehicles, and Asia and Oceania experienced its best-ever April with 400 vehicles sold.

Infiniti also reported best-ever April sales in Canada, Mexico, Latin America, South Africa, and Australia.
