In July, Infiniti begrudgingly gave the automotive world its first official look at the Infiniti Q30 after images of the vehicle were leaked online. Now, with the doors of the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show ready to open tomorrow morning, more details about the luxury brand’s latest offering are coming to light.

The Infiniti Q30 is being described as an active compact, and the automaker hopes that this addition to their lineup will help them grow globally. Designed to be more appealing to a driver looking for a more versatile luxury car, the production vehicle follows closely in the footsteps of the Infiniti Q30 concept vehicle. Besides the base trim, this model will also be offered in a Premium and Sport version. According to Infiniti, each version will have a different personality in looks, performance, and size. All forms of the Q30, however, will be ready to take on whatever the driver throws at it.

This new vehicle was originally designed in Japan, and then sent to Europe for fine tuning and testing. A comfortable ride was the engineers’ top priority, and Infiniti promises that the vehicle offers great driving dynamics and power from its 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine. In the US, the Infiniti Q30 will only be available with an automatic transmission. Features like Automatic Park Assist, Intelligent Cruise Control, Moving Object Detection, Blind Spot Warning, and Forward Emergency Braking also add safety to the driving experience.

If you like the look of the Q30, you don’t have long to wait. Infiniti estimates that the vehicle will go on sale in Europe later this year, and it will reach the US early in 2016.
