Infiniti QX70S Design Edition Goes on Sale in Britain
Last October, Infiniti stole the Paris Motor Show by debuting its Q80 Inspiration. But that wasn’t the only model the luxury automaker had on display at the French auto show. An additional, if overlooked, vehicle that accompanied Infiniti to Paris was the QX70 with the S Design package, and now Infiniti has actually begun sales of the special edition model in the UK.

The Infiniti QX70S Design edition is powered by a number of engine choices, including a 235-hp 3.0-liter diesel, a 316-hp 3.7-liter petrol, and a 385-hp 5.0-liter V8. These are the same engine choices offered in Europe for the regular QX70, which makes us quite envious, since Infiniti discontinued the V8 here in the US. This engine is quite the powerhouse, with 0-to-100 km speeds of 5.8 seconds.
The crossover is painted in a classic metallic grey and features dark chrome accents that accentuate the crossover’s paint color. The dark chrome is featured on the grille, fog light surrounds, rear license plate surround, side sills, and side air scoops. Other exterior features include 21-inch six-spoke black alloy wheels, black roof rails, and black mirrors. All in all, the QX70S Design looks exactly like the luxury crossover it is.

Inside, you’ll find purple stitching on the steering wheel, seats, door trims, and armrest, as well as a black lacquer finish on the center console.
The Infiniti QX70S Design edition has been on sale in other European countries for a while, but this is the first time the automaker is offering it to British drivers. Unfortunately, there are no plans to bring it over to the US, but we can dream!
