Infiniti Sponsors Museum of Food and Drink in NYC
The next time you’re in New York City, check out the Museum of Food and Drink (MOFAD). It’s the Big Apple’s first food museum with edible exhibits, and its mission is to change how visitors see the food they eat and inspire curiosity. It also aspires to be a global leader in food education.
This month, MOFAD opened its latest project, a design studio that marks the museum’s first brick-and-mortar space. Its first exhibit, “Flavor: Making it and Faking it,” is a close look at the flavor industry and how it changes our perception of food.
The MOFAD Lab is possible thanks to a sponsorship by Infiniti. The partnership with the automaker allowed MOFAD to obtain the 5,000-square-foot exhibit design studio at 62 Bayard Street in Brooklyn. Infiniti also helps supply funding for online content, such as the videos linked in this article.
“Infiniti has always been inspired by the human spirit and our desire to improve upon the status quo,” said Infiniti USA’s Director of Marketing Communications and Media, Allyson Witherspoon. “Through this exciting partnership with MOFAD and Eater, we’re supporting a truly one-of-a-kind museum and reaching a unique and curious consumer audience in those who visit the MOFAD Lab space in Brooklyn and elsewhere through a variety of compelling online content.”
