Infiniti’s US sales in April Increase 16.9 Percent
Infiniti’s US sales in April were up 16.9 percent with 9,170 units sold across the country. Through the first four months of 2014, Infiniti vehicle sales total 40,391 units, which amounts to an impressive 14.7 year-to-date increase over 2013.
The Infiniti Q50 continues to do well in its first full year of sales, moving 2,626 units in April and bringing its four-month total to 12,645 vehicles. Its predecessor, the G Sedan, continues to sell remarkably well despite having been more-or-less replaced by the Q50. Infiniti sports sedan sales, including sales of the G37, climbed 54 percent in April.
The Infiniti QX50 continues to be a hit with consumers, increasing year-over-year sales by 147.3 percent in April. Through the first four months of the year, the QX50’s sales stats have improved 69.7 percent.
Also enjoying a solid performance in April was the Infiniti QX80, which moved 943 units for a 26.2 percent year-over-year increase.
The Q50, QX50, and QX80 recently had honors bestowed upon them by Edmunds.com at the New York International Auto Show.
