James Corden Wears Wig, Sings with Sia in Latest Carpool Karaoke
We’re writing about James Corden’s most recent guest on his Carpool Karaoke show—Sia. I’m sure you’re shocked.
Because really— there’s no way The News Wheel is letting an episode of The Late Late Show with James Corden’s Carpool Karaoke get by without us writing about it.
We love it. We love that show. We love James Corden. And some of us actually do love Sia and her music.
After Corden’s Grammy-inspired episode with Justin Bieber *insert fangirl screams here*, the Brit is back in his car and picking up random celebrities once again. When he’s lost due to traffic on the way to work, Corden randomly finds Sia on the side of the road embellished with her signature wig and a HUGE big bow. And I mean HUGE.
The duo set off to get Corden to his studio for rehearsals on time, starting things off by rocking out to Sia’s first chart-topper “Chandelier.” Needless to say, both of the celebrities really impress when they get to the chorus and reach those ridiculous high notes.
Working to get those high notes
Throughout the singing session, Corden and Sia really seem to get along, discussing Sia’s decision to wear a wig while out in public.
“I was a singer already for like 10 or 11 years, to mediocre success, and I was an alcoholic and a drug addict and I sobered up and decided I didn’t want to be an artist anymore because I was starting to get a little bit famous and it was destabilizing in some way,” she told Corden.
She continued, stating, “So I thought, ‘What doesn’t exist in pop music at the moment?’ And it was mystery… there’s pictures on Instagram of everyone at the dentist.”
So, of course, James Corden had to see what it was like to wear a wig. Of course, he couldn’t cover his face since he was driving, so it wasn’t as beauteous as Sia’s, but still—he looked quite gorgeous.
Corden got in touch with his Sia side
The best part, though, was when Sia proved she could hold six eggs on the top of each hand. ON THE TOP.
EGGS!
She sure is one talented lady.
