JcrOffroad Inc., a custom off-road parts producer for Jeeps, recently received compliments via social media from rapper Xzibit, who many people know best as the former host of the TV show Pimp My Ride.

“@Jcroffroad is bringing the noise with these custom made bumpers for the #Jeep build with @cartelking!!! We are building a #Monster!” the rapper said on his Facebook page.

JcpOffroad Inc. made a video of its team completing the rapper’s order, which it posted to its social media accounts. A couple of employees in the video are seen playing rock-paper-scissors to determine who got to make Xzibit’s custom bumpers.

Xzibit first gained notoriety from his singles “Get Your Walk On” and “X” in the late ’90s and early 2000s, then starred in films such as Gridiron Gang and 8 Mile, but he’s still probably best known for Pimp My Ride, the show in which he and a team of mechanics customized cars for young people who couldn’t afford flashy rides.

It makes sense that the rapper commissioned JcrOffroad Inc. to make his custom bumpers, since Jeep Wranglers are known for their rugged off-road capabilities. The first Wranglers were produced in 1986 and back then were known as the Jeep YJ.

2015 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

The 2015 Jeep Wrangler features a 3.6-liter V6 engine and six-speed automatic transmission that produces 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. Fuel economy estimates aren’t too shabby either for such a large vehicle, as the 2015 Jeep Wrangler gets 16 mpg in the city and 21 mpg on the highway.

We don’t know exactly what Xzibit has up his sleeves for his custom Jeep, but we know it will almost certainly be pimped out.
