The 2016 Jeep Cherokee Overland offers luxury at an affordable price

Getting a Jeep with all the bells and whistles can be expensive. That’s why Jeep has decided to combine the affordability of an entry-level Jeep Cherokee with the luxurious features of the Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland or Summit.

The Jeep Cherokee Overland is the perfect combination of cost and a premium interior. For the price of $35,690—which is cheap by Jeep standards—consumers can get a variety of interior and exterior changes that are sure to knock your socks off.

The Overland exterior includes body-color trim in place of the black trim normally seen on the Cherokee. It also has chrome accents surrounding the upper and lower grilles, adding a nice touch of sophistication. Jeep has also outfitted the Cherokee Overland with bi-xenon headlights instead of halogen, and brand-new, polished 18-inch wheels.

While the exterior changes are all fine and dandy, the truly spectacular features reside in the cabin. For its low price, the Cherokee Overland offers some pretty refined features. Nappa leather wraps the heated (and ventilated) seats, while Zebrano wood trim adds a splash of class to the steering wheel. A leather-wrapped instrument panel and the 8.4-inch Uconnect system—which is one of the best infotainment systems in the business—make everyone feel comfortable and connected. And, as if those top-notch features weren’t enough, Jeep finishes the Overland interior off with an Alpine Premium system, cross-traffic alert, and blind-spot monitoring.

If you really want a Jeep that offers both luxury and an affordable price, then the Cherokee Overland trim is probably your best bet.
