One million is a big number, no matter what you’re counting. One million sheep, one million sticky buns, one million catheters, or even one million Jeeps. But according to Jeep’s 2014 global sales report, the world bought more than one million Jeeps just last year. That’s a lot of catheters Jeeps.

Models such as the 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT paved the way for another year of record-breaking sales for Jeep.

In total, the Jeep brand moved 1,017,019 Jeep models globally. This marks the third year that Jeep has set a global sales record, meaning that the brand’s sales have continuously been on the rise for some time now.

“2014 marks the fifth consecutive year that Jeep vehicle sales have increased both globally and in the U.S. market,” said Mike Manley, the President and CEO of Jeep. “While we are especially pleased with the way the new Jeep Cherokee is resonating in the marketplace, the fact is that every vehicle in the Jeep lineup recorded significant worldwide sales gains.”

Manley added, “While achieving 1 million vehicle sales in 2014 was certainly a milestone, 2015 will be a transformational year in the globalization of the brand, as we begin local manufacturing in Brazil and return to local manufacturing in China after an absence of nearly a decade. We will strive to continue our sales momentum in 2015 with a full lineup of capable and efficient SUVs – including the all-new 2015 Jeep Renegade, as it arrives in showrooms in markets around the world.”

But the global sales increase (of a whopping 39%) was not the only victory for the most patriotic brand in the country. Jeep also did exceptionally well here at home, with sales up 41% over 2013. Abroad, Jeep also kicked butt, dominating the Asia-Pacific region with a 42% increase and Europe, the Middle East, and Africa with a 40% increase. As expected, the Grand Cherokee was Jeep’s best-selling vehicle in 2014.
