Jim Gaffigan Makes 2017 Chrysler Pacifica Good for Your Dad Brand
If ever a dad was considered “cool,” it would be Jim Gaffigan. The father of five has pretty much built his comedy career on dad jokes and terrible, yet hilarious fathering stories. He has the perfect dry delivery that could make a story about getting poop in your mouth hilarious.
So, really, does it come as any surprise that Chrysler asked him to be in the first-ever commercial for the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica? I mean, the Pacifica and Jim Gaffigan are practically the same thing. The Pacifica in the video is even red like Gaffigan’s fiery hair.
He might not be able to remember every one of his five kids’ names, but he definitely knows that the Pacifica minivan has some pretty sweet features. Throughout the 30-second spot, Gaffigan demonstrates its hands-free sliding doors, a rearview camera with guiding lines, and over 100 safety and security features.
Heck, the thing even has a rear entertainment system with two 10.1-inch touchscreens with built-in games. Say goodbye to “Are we there yet?” questions on road trips and having to play those silly road trip games (but really, those games are pretty awesome).
With a smaller, lighter body, a more innovative Uconnect infotainment system, and a sweet panoramic sunroof, the Chrysler Pacifica really is great for your dad brand. If you don’t believe me, let Jim Gaffigan convince you.
