KBB.com has released its list of the “10 Coolest Cars Under $18,000,” ranking a range of vehicles that are both affordable and relatively “hip.” Honda had more vehicles on the top ten list than any other automaker, scoring two major victories with the 2016 Honda Civic and Fit.

The 2016 Honda Fit, which carries a starting manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $15,790 (not including the $820 destination charge), was placed eighth on the list of cool cars.

“A class leader in practicality, reliability and resale value, the Honda Fit is arguably the smartest choice you can make in the subcompact car category,” wrote KBB.com editors in their rankings. “But it’s also loaded with personality, making it a dual threat to the competition.”

The tenth-generation 2016 Civic garnered even more praise from KBB.com, finishing second on the list of “10 Coolest Cars Under $18,000.” With its all-new design and host of new features, the Civic was very popular with Kelley Blue Book’s writers, being bested only by the first-place Mazda3.

“Our favorite new car of the year and our Overall Best Buy for 2016, the new Civic essentially reinvented the compact car category overnight,” KBB.com editors wrote. “It’s among the roomiest, most comfortable, most fun to drive, most efficient, most feature-packed cars in the class, and it’s still the only one with a Honda badge and all the refinement, reliability and reputation that come with it.”

Other vehicles recognized on the list include the 2016 Chevy Sonic, Ford Fiesta, Fiat 500, Hyundai Veloster, Kia Soul, VW Golf, and Jeep Renegade.
