KBB.com Names Mitsubishi Mirage in “10 Most Fuel-Efficient Cars under $25,000”
The Mitsubishi Mirage continues to earn a reputation as an inexpensive form of transportation in Kelley Blue Book‘s latest Top 10 list, “10 Most Fuel-Efficient Cars under $25,000”. At 44 highway miles per gallon, the 2015 Mirage is the most fuel efficient non-electric and non-hybrid vehicle in America, but doesn’t carry the monetary premium that electrically motivated cars do. It was, in fact, the only non-hybrid vehicle to make this list.
The Mirage starts at just $12,995 MSRP and has been selling incredibly well since its launch in 2013, with last month being its best thus far. Just playing around with the configurator on Mitsubishi’s website, we couldn’t even get a loaded 2015 Mirage ES to break $20,000. That’s quite a bargain for something that has navigation, park assist, seats five, and cranks out 44 miles per gallon on your commute.

The Mitsubishi Mirage has also received recognition on the ACEEE “Greenest Vehicles” List and the IHS Automotive Loyalty Awards, where it took the sub-compact car class.
Don Swearingen, Executive VP of Mitsubishi Motors North America, said, “With its affordable price, incredible fuel economy and surprising list of available features, the Mirage is a great value that people recognize.” The Mirage is also backed up by Mitsubishi’s 10-year/100,000 mile warranty, adding value to the already low price tag.
