KBB.com Names Nissan Altima in “10 Best Sedans Under $25,000”
Thanks to its decent fuel economy and exceptional comfort, the 2014 Nissan Altima earned a spot on Kelley Blue Book’s “10 Best Sedans under $25,000” list.
The Altima was completely redesigned for the 2013 model year and starts at $22,300 MSRP in its most basic trim level. With the 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and Xtronic transmission, the Altima is capable of up to 38 highway miles per gallon. For those that desire a little more power, a 3.5-liter V6 is available that sends 270 horsepower to the front wheels. The NASA-inspired Zero Gravity front seats elevate the level of comfort that comes standard on the Nissan Altima as well.
Another standard feature that earned the Altima a spot on this list is the Easy Fill Tire Alert that’s available on many Nissan vehicles, which beeps the horn when the proper tire pressure is reached.
Those that opt for the Altima SL trim level will enjoy leather seats and a premium Bose sound system.
Judging from last year’s incredible sales numbers for Nissan, it looks like the automaker is putting some serious effort into making high-quality cars that are leaders in their respective classes. The Nissan LEAF continues to prove itself as a viable alternative for commuters, and other Nissan models such as the Rogue and Pathfinder are stacking up the accolades and awards.
