Thankfully, winter is almost gone, and with it all the ice and snow. If you don’t have an all-wheel-drive vehicle yet, you’ve probably been seriously considering it after your town was buried in one of the countless winter storms that roamed the Midwest and New England. KBB.com put together a list to help you prepare for the return of Jack Frost in 2015 with their “10 Best All-Wheel Drive Vehicles Under $25,000” list, and the 2015 Nissan Rogue is among the chosen few.

The 2015 Rogue’s all-wheel-drive system is enhanced by several computer-assisted features. Dan Mohnke, VP and Nissan Chief Marketing Manager, said, “Featuring Advanced Ride Control, Active Trace Control* and Active Engine Braking among many other features, with a premium look and feel, Rogue is a solid entry in the marketplace. We are ecstatic that the Rogue has been recognized by Kelley Blue Book.”

The 2015 Nissan Rogue is offered with front-wheel drive as standard, but all-wheel drive is available on each trim level. The wheels get their power from a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine generating 170 horsepower and 175 lb-ft of torque through a continuously variable transmission.

Last month, the 2015 Nissan Rogue also took the Consumer Guide Automotive Best Buy Award–one of only two to receive the honor. With the amount of standard features you get for such a low price, we wouldn’t be surprised if the Rogue racks up some more awards before the end of the year.
