Despite hundred of products vying for the attention of the Reviewed.com editors the Kia Niro EV concept vehicle impressed with its design and high efficiency.

“The publication’s recognition highlights Kia Motors’ continued drive toward expanding its line of alternative fuel vehicles,” reports Kia. “Although only a concept, the vehicle on display at CES hints at what a future production Niro EV might one day resemble.”

The Niro EV Concept boasts zero tailpipe emissions, a 238-mile driving range, a 150kW electric motor and a “high-capacity 64kWh lithium-polymer battery pack.”

In addition to showcasing the Niro EV concept, Kia Motors also revealed at CES 2018 that the automaker plans to debut a fuel-cell EV in 2020, add 16 new electrified vehicles to its lineup by 2025, and expand its WiBLE car-sharing service already operational in Korea to regions in Europe in 2018. Kia also shared its “Boundless for all” vision, which outlines its involvement in the future of mobility.

“‘Boundless for all’ is Kia’s future vision – where everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the infinite value that future mobility will bring. This is Kia’s manifesto for its role as a mass mobility provider in the future. Consumers are bound today by the idea that a car is ‘just a vehicle’, but Kia is committed to providing a broader solution to mobility. ‘Boundless for all’ represents a future in which a vehicle can be so much more than the sum of its parts,” said Dr. Woong-chul Yang, Vice Chairman and Head of Kia R&D Center.
