The 2015 Kia Sedona

Run For The Wall is a 10-day cross-country motorcycle journey in which US military veterans ride on three separate routes from California to the Vietnam War Memorial, visiting veterans’ hospitals, schools, and memorials along the way. Kia Motors America is supporting the mission by providing fuel stops along the way, 2015 Sedona minivans to transport supplies, and, most notably, Sedonas that will drive the veteran soldiers who are unable to make the ride via motorcycle.

“Kia is grateful to the brave men and women who have elected to serve our country, and the Run For The Wall is an annual event that honors their sacrifice,” said Tim Chaney, Kia’s vice president of marketing communications.  “By supplying Kia Sedona minivans as support vehicles on all three routes and financial support for the ride, we hope to further the organization’s mission of healing.”

During the 10-day journey, which will depart Ontario, California on May 13th and reach Washington DC on the 23rd, the brotherhood of 1,000+ riders will stop in communities along the way for hot meals and logistical support. Wreaths and other items given by schoolchildren and community members to be left at the wall will be carried by the 2015 Sedonas.

“Kia’s support of Run For The Wall is instrumental in helping our riders make what, for many, is an emotional trek across the country,” said Run For The Wall President Ken Hargrove. “We are grateful that companies such as Kia have joined us for the journey.”
