Lexus To Reveal GS F Super Sedan at NAIAS
The Lexus “F” Performance Line is getting another member next week with the arrival of the high performance Lexus GS F sedan. The new GS is powered by a 5.0-liter V8 engine, expected to generate 467 hp, that will translate all that power to adrenaline-pumping speed through an eight-speed automatic transmission with a manual shifting mode. Power is transferred to the rear wheels through a Torque Vectoring Differential currently found on the RC F, which distributes torque between the wheels during a turn automatically to offer more precise handling.

The Torque Vectoring Differential will offer the driver three modes to choose from: Standard, Slalom, and Track. These modes progressively tighten up the steering and power distribution according to the needs of the driver and the driving environment.
The Lexus RC F that the GS F shares its drivetrain with already puts down some impressive numbers: 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds with a top speed of 168 mph. Imagine the GS F as an equally fast, four-doored brother of the RC.
