Limited Edition 2016 Ram 1500 Stinger Yellow Sport Causes Buzz in Industry

If you want to cause a buzz when you’re out on the road, then the 2016 Ram 1500 Stinger Yellow Sport limited edition pickup truck is the vehicle for you. Mostly because it looks like a bumblebee—but also because it actually is pretty darn awesome.

“The Ram 1500 Sport offers unique features for customers who enjoy aggressive styling and great performance,” said Mike Manley, Head of Ram Truck Brand for FCA Global. “Truck buyers are very attached to their vehicles and the Stinger Yellow Sport model adds a custom appearance to the segment’s best-looking truck.”
The Stinger Yellow Sport Edition is available with either a Crew Cab 4×2 or 4×4 configurations. Other standard features include a V8 HEMI that churns out 395 horsepower, an eight-speed TorqueFlite transmission, and a dual chrome-tipped exhaust. It also has a vented sport hood and 22-inch wheels.

Despite the Stinger Yellow Sport’s bee-like exterior styling, the interior offers a stylish getaway for its owners. A predominantly black cabin is highlighted with Light Black Chrome and yellow details. There is yellow stitching throughout the interior, along with Sport embroidery on the seats and the Ram’s head logo on the headrests. Black leather is stretched across the seats with colored accent sport mesh featured on the seating inserts. The yellow-colored truck even has the 8.4-inch Uconnect system to help navigate and give drivers a standard rearview camera.
These special-edition Sport models will arrive at dealerships this month with a starting price of $43,145 plus destination. There will only be 2,250 of these limited-edition trucks produced.
