Lincoln Closes Tribeca Film Festival with Short Film “Alethea”
The Lincoln Motor Company, signature sponsor of the Tribeca Film Festival, continued to show its support for film and art by collaborating on a new film noir short titled “Alethea.” [ Watch “Alethea” in the Video Below ]
The short features New York actress Elsa Carette on her journey of self-discovery. The story is a three-minute ode to the noir genre that explores Alethea’s aspirations and imagination without any dialogue—instead using stylized camera work and evocative lighting to convey thoughts and emotions as she travels through New York City in a Lincoln MKZ.
It was directed by Duncan Wolfe and helped close this year’s Tribeca Film Festival, which the Lincoln Motor Company sponsored as part of its continuing efforts to get involved with artists and give them the platforms they need to grow their craft and reach out to audiences worldwide.
“Much like our collaborations with Beck and Aloe Blacc, working with Duncan presents us with a unique opportunity to reach a new audience in an engaging way,” said Matt VanDyke, Director, Global Lincoln.
