The MKC reigned supreme in the Lincoln November sales report

Here’s one of the least surprising revelations from the Lincoln November sales report: a lot of people bought the 2015 Lincoln MKC last month. More specifically, 2,152 people bought the MKC, which was enough to officially supplant the MKZ as Lincoln’s best-selling model.

It’s been a long time coming, really. Since launching this summer, MKC sales have been Lincoln’s biggest saving grace, and though its sales were off slightly from its so-far-all-time high in October, the MKC shows no signs of slowing down.

Thus far, the MKC has racked up 10,767 sales for Lincoln, making it the third best-selling model in the lineup with less than a half-year’s work.

The 2015 Navigator accounted for 1,433 sales in November

Moreover, Lincoln November sales were up 20.6% with 8,113 units delivered. This pushes Lincoln’s to-date total to 84,784 sales, good for a 15% gain over sales through November 2013 and the best November Lincoln has seen since 2007.

The Navigator was up big in November as well—88.1% to be exact—with sales totaling 1,433 units. This marks the best sales mark in November for the full-size luxury SUV—which was revamped for 2015—since 2007.

The MKX was down 17.7% with 1,602 units sold, the MKT was down 11.6% with 381 units sold, the MKZ was down 26.6% with 2,096 units sold, and the MKS was down 38.8% with 449 units sold.

With the last month of 2014 ahead and no signs to indicate that interest in the MKC has cooled, the expectation of 100,000 sales in the US by 2015 suddenly seems incredibly plausible.
