Lincoln Motor Company has announced its support to The Association of Junior Leagues International, pledging that the funds raised from two test-drive events scheduled to take place at the organization’s conferences throughout the year will benefit AJLI directly.

“Through these special test drives, Lincoln is proud to assist the meaningful, impactful efforts Junior Leagues provide in their communities,” said John Emmert, Lincoln group marketing manager. “One of our passion points is to engage with individuals who are leaders – both through thought and action—in their communities.”

Lincoln will hold a test drive event at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza in Los Angeles, which will also serve as the site of AJLI’s 2015 annual conference. The second event, set for September 17-19 in New Orleans, will take place at the site of AJLI’s fall leadership conference.

During these events, Lincoln will donate $25 for every test drive taken, which will then be split between AJLI and the area’s Junior League. The 2015 Lincoln MKZ, MKZ Hybrid, Navigator, and the all-new MKC will all be available to drive.

“We are thrilled to welcome Lincoln as AJLI’s newest corporate sponsor,” said Laurie Dodge, Director of Marketing and Development at AJLI. “This multi-component partnership provides invaluable financial support to AJLI and local Leagues and enables us to prepare our members to successfully lead in their local communities and beyond.”

The AJLI was founded in 1901 by Mary Harriman, and it has subsequently become one of the world’s largest women’s volunteer organizations the world over. Today, the AJLI is comprised of more than 150,000 women in 292 different Leagues spread out over four countries.
