Lynn Antipas Tyson Named New Executive Director of Investor Relations for Ford

Ford Motor Company on Monday announced that Lynn Antipas Tyson has taken the position of executive director of Investor Relations. Effective October 1st, Tyson took over in the role from previous executive director Ted Cannis, who has been appointed to the role of global director, Electrification.

Tyson’s experience over three decades in finance and strategic communications includes senior-level stints at PepsiCo and Dell and a total of 23 years in investor relations. As Ford’s executive director of Investor Relations, Tyson will lead the company as a representative for fixed-income and equity investors and provide counsel with an eye for supporting value creation, risk mitigation, and strategic input.

“Lynn brings a wealth of investor relations and communications experience at companies that were facing profound change,” said Bob Shanks, executive vice president and chief financial officer. “We are confident that she will further strengthen our crucial relationship with the investment community and we are excited to have her join our team.”

Tyson most recently served as the vice president of Investor Relations for Ateno. Prior to that, she was the vice president of Investor Relations at CHC Helicopters, where she was integral in the company’s IPO. She was also the senior vice president of Investor Relations at PepsiCo, headed up investor relations for YUM! Brands Inc., and spent 10 years leading investor relations and global corporate communications at Dell.

She is also a member of the National Investor Relations Institute (NIRI), and she served as a board member from 2004-08.

As the executive director of Investor Relations, Cannis will lead Ford’s battery-electric vehicle strategy.
