The three Make Your Mark finalists are Alvaro Ron, Michael Burke and Ian Wagner, and Tim Wen and Chidi Onyejuruwa. The finalists will be matched with one of three mentors as they complete their final projects. The mentors include Bruce Cohen (American Beauty and Silver Linings Playbook), Gale Anne Hurd (The Terminator trilogy and The Walking Dead), and Peter Saraf (Little Miss Sunshine).

With their mentors, the finalists will produce three-to-five minute short films. A small portion of the winning short film, as well as the producer’s name or producers’ names, will be featured in the 30-second Cadillac spot slated for February 22, 2015, on ABC during the Oscars. The winner will be chosen by a highly distinguished panel of judges, to include Kathy Bates, Craig Bierley, Danny DeVito, Michael Douglas, Hawk Koch, Gary Lucchesi, Lori McCreary, Chris Moor, and Mathew Zelley.

“The Producers Guild of America and Cadillac look for opportunities to celebrate personal achievement and creativity,” commented Uwe Ellinghaus, Global Cadillac chief marketing officer. “With Make Your Mark, we are giving aspiring filmmakers a unique opportunity to feature their talent before a large and highly receptive audience.”

The winner will be announced ahead of the Oscars at the 2015 Producers Guild Awards, on January 24, 2015.
