Man Watches Tornado Destroying His Garage Moments after He Backs Out
Talk about good timing. In the video below, a Russian driver (who happens to have a dash cam, like every other intelligent Russian driver) backs out of his garage in the middle of the storm. Little did he know that that would be his saving grace from a horrendous tornado that took the lives of two people and injured another 40, as well as destroyed 470 homes.
The video depicts the driver backing out and into the storm, but just as he does so, the storm seemingly takes a turn for the worse. Just as the driver is attempting to drive away, a wall of wind and debris tears through the street and turns the car back toward the garage, just in time for his dash cam to catch the tornado destroying his garage—the very one he was in just moments ago.

While the car didn’t come out unscathed (it was obviously dented, and all the windows shattered), the driver was very lucky to have pulled it out of his garage.
Despite the date displayed in the bottom of the video, the storm occurred in the Krasnokamsky district of the Bashkortostan Republic in Russia on August 29th, according to 9news.
