Mark Buzzell, CEO, Ford Motor Company of Canada

Mark Buzzell has been named as the successor to Dianne Craig in the role of CEO of Ford Motor Company of Canada. Buzzell will ascend to the position of CEO on January 1st, the same date that Craig will begin her role as the US Director of Sales for Ford Motor Company.

With Dianne Craig at the helm, Ford has been Canada’s top-selling auto brand for five years straight. Sales in 2016 have been marked not just by repeated record-setting months for the brand and its F-Series trucks in particular, but with record customer sales and service satisfaction scores.

“While the sales leadership title is a nice pride point for our dealers and employees, what I consider our greatest accomplishment is how we achieved that success. We are the best-selling brand due to an unwavering focus on what is best for our customers,” Craig said.

“Dianne Craig’s outstanding contributions at Ford of Canada make her the right person to help build future sales success in the U.S.,” said Joe Hinrichs, Ford’s president of The Americas.

Craig’s replacement, Buzzell, is currently the general manager for Ford’s western market area and has been with Ford for 27 years filling various roles in marketing, sales, and service.

“I look forward to joining Ford of Canada’s winning team to lead the company’s efforts to be the most trusted and admired automotive brand in the country,” Buzzell said.

“Based on my own experience at Ford of Canada, I know that Mark Buzzell is a perfect fit to lead the organization as it continues to put the customer experience first and build a strong future for its employees, dealers and communities,” said Hinrichs.
