Matt Hagan and the 2015 Mopar Dodge Charger R/T Win Again at Wild Horse Pass
Matt Hagan won his second consecutive 2015 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series win in the 2015 Mopar Dodge Charger R/T
Matt Hagan has struck again. With a second consecutive victory in the 2015 NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series season, Hagan and his 2015 Mopar Dodge Charger R/T NHRA Funny Car are currently undefeated. Hagan is no stranger to success, however. He is also the reigning champ from last year’s series.

The latest win comes from the competition at Wild Horse Pass Motorsports Park over the weekend. It should come as no surprise that Hagan posted the fastest run of the entire weekend in the final round, when he beat out Del Worsham for the title; he posted a track record of just 3.975 seconds at a top speed of 324.83 miles an hour, the second fastest that the Funny Car series has ever seen.

The next race weekend for the 2015 NHRA Mello Yell Drag Racing Series is March 12th – 25th , when teams, including Mopar, will head to Gainesville, Florida, for the NHRA Gatornationals at Auto Plus Raceway. Shortly after the Mopar team heads down to Gainesville, the Mopar Road Ready program will set up camp there to teach teen drivers how to practice safety behind the wheel.
