In each month of 2014, Mercedes has logged record sales in the United States. By that metric, May Mercedes-Benz sales were business as usual, with 29,570 units sold across the Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter, and smart brands. “With five record months on the books for 2014,” said Stephen Cannon, president and CEO of MBUSA, “we continue to accelerate thanks to the strength of our product offering and our dealer network’s laser focus on the customer experience.”

The Mercedes-Benz brand was up 7.7 percent with total retail sales of 26,617 units. The E-Class was the volume leader with 6,168 vehicles sold, a 25.1 percent year-over-year increase; the C-Class was the second most popular line with 5,284 vehicles sold; and the M-Class was up 26.9 percent with 4,084 units sold.
