Maybach Music Group CEO Rick Ross Arrested On Kidnapping and Assault Charges
Two weeks ago, on June 11th, Maybach Music rapper and CEO Rick Ross was arrested after police found five marijuana joints in his Bentley during a traffic stop. He posted bond and was free until he was arrested again today, June 24th, on kidnapping and assault charges.
Ross, real name William Roberts, allegedly hit a man with a gun, knocking out two of the victims teeth. The attack also caused neck and jaw injuries. The alleged assault happened at the rapper’s 235-acre mansion in Georgia that once belonged to boxing champion Evander Holyfield.
The rapper was arrested “without incident” this morning and has been denied bond. He will stay locked up until he faces a Fayette County Superior Court judge on July 1st.
Ross owns an extensive car collection, which includes a Ferrari 458 Italia, Fisker Karma, Bentley Continental GT, Lamborghini Murcielago, Rolls Royce Wraith, Fisker Karma, BMW 700Li, and Hummer H2. None of these vehicles will be doing him much good while he sits in his jail cell.
The reason for the alleged assault is unclear.
