Mazda North American Operations (MNAO) has announced that, in the spirit of #GivingTuesday, it would recommit to its Drive for Good® program in 2018. This will be the fifth year of the program’s operation, providing monetary donations to both local and national charities.

However, although Mazda’s Drive for Good normally runs through the end of the year, Mazda has announced specific donations and volunteering commitments for 2018: $5 million in aid to four national and 42 local charities, and 50,000 hours of volunteering, to be performed by Mazda employees and dealers in their own communities.

“Our Mazda Drive for Good program started in 2013, as a way to unify Mazda owners, dealerships and employees around causes that are important to them,” said Masahiro Moro, president and CEO of MNAO. “What started as a winter charity event, evolved into a true way of life for many of our dealer partners and employees. We are proud to announce our recommitment to our local communities, and the non-profits that truly make a difference in peoples’ lives, each and every day.”
