Typically, Mazda fans in the United Kingdom are overlooked when special automotive goodies get passed out. But, as the Japanese automaker prepares to replace its current Mazda2 generation with a reinvented version, UK customers can exclusively obtain special edition Mazda2s.

Recognizing the Mazda2 is a popular vehicle in the Great Britain area and beyond, the brand is offering two stylish versions of the hatchback being replaced with spring: Mazda2 Black And White Editions.

The final run of Mazda’s current mini hatchback is being punctuated with two exceptional versions: the Mazda 2 Black Edition and Mazda 2 White Edition.

“The Mazda2 Black Edition and White Edition represent a last chance for our customers to get their hands on a unique version of the current 5-door Mazda2. As with every Mazda special edition model, they combine bespoke exterior and interior styling with a lavish standard equipment specification, offering customers stand-out individuality and outstanding value for money,” Peter Albion, Mazda UK sales director, said.

Exterior: Choose between Jet Black Mica or Crystal White Pearlescent paint–either option is impressive. Accent your choice with roof stripes, 15-inch onyx alloy wheels, diffuser-style rear bumper, heated folding side-mirrors, and rear privacy glass.

Interior: The humble Mazda2 looks fierce with black cloth upholstery, tinted with red accents and door trims. You’ll also like the glossy dark grey audio panel and steering wheel inserts. Why can’t every Mazda look like this?

Engine: Both come with a 1.3-liter, five-speed manual box which reaches 75-horsepower.

The Mazda2 Black And White Editions are just for UK customers, so we won’t be blessed with seeing Mazda’s yin or yang in America. At least we have black-themed special editions from other manufacturers to look forward to.
